I would give my journal to my mom. I might ask her to write down some of her stories in it--she's got some good ones that shouldn't be lost...

Oh dear, I forgot to say who I would give the second journal to: My older sister. Since my mother was put in a nursing home last Thanksgiving because of a fall from her wheelchair, I would give the second journal to her because she is now being a mother to my mom.

These are lovely! I would give one to my mom.

Oh wow! Now I've bookmarked one site and made a favorite in my etsy account. I see all kinds of wonderful applications with the Etsy items! And the ornaments, LOOVE them.

If I was lucky enough to win, I think I'd give the second to my df. She's a wonderful mom of two boys, one of which has special needs. She loves to journal and this would be so nice.
Also, now that I think about it, I'd give the first to my step/mother-law. She would LOVE this journal after I've altered it and added some photo's for her to share of all her grandchildren.

The pine cone Christmas tree ornaments from Poland remind me of the ornaments we put on the tree year after year when I was growing up. They were given to Goodwill a few years ago without my knowing, so sad. They were well loved by me. I'm so happy to see the real things coming back in style, not the cheap knock-offs. Wonderful. I would give the second journal to my daughter. She loves journals, though she never writes much in them.

I have finally gotten my mother who is 86 to start journaling things from her childhood. Her memory is so remarkable. She is who I would give one of the books to. I would want to keep the other one, but might have to give it to my only daughter so she can begin journaling things about her girlhood and the things she treasures most about her children's lives. I would have to really think about that 2nd book.

Wow, so many pretty things! I would give my second journal to my younger sister. Our mum passed away nine years ago next month. It would be great to preserve our memories of her in these journals. And now that we are moms ourselves, it would be great to pass along our memories as moms to our kids on these journals as well. tndmail3(at)yahoo(dot)com

I would give one of these Journals to my Mamma and one to my sister.

My sister is travelling overseas at the moment and so keeping in touch with her is really difficult (she is mostly in 3rd world countries). If she could keep a 'diary/journal' then I could read about her adventures/experiences and I wouldnt miss out (she'd forget most of her news by the time i finally got to have a long chat)

For my Mamma because she rights beautiful verses but due to rough economic times its all on basic refill.

What a gorgeous store, and blog. The Christmas ornaments remind me of some handpainted glass ornaments my sister and I bought in Germany, for our mother, when we were back-packing. We carried them around for months in our backpacks, paranoid they would be crushed! They were not the most practical gift but extremely beautiful.

If I won this contest, I would gift the journals to my friend Tanya (who lives in the US, unlike me) and her mother, who has been like a second mother to me at times!
