Ol Skool Pinstriping: Free Digital Downloads

Growing up in the 70s and 80s, pinstriping autos was very hot. As an artist, the skill completely fascinated me. If you’re from my time or earlier, no doubt these designs will bring back great memories. If you’re just a pup, I’m bettin’ you appreciate going retro now and then. Here’s some great vintage graphics to trick out your blog or embellish your photos or projects.

For some excellent inspiration, here’s a gifted pinstriping artist I found while surfing who will rock just about anything with his striping skills!

I like the new looks. Both yours and your blog. The pinstriping era has always been so me. I am fascinated by the skill it takes. I am never without personal pinstriping on my vehicle. We have a local guru and he does amazing work. I have ballerina butterflies he did just for me. Our local car show has a contest each year too. Keep creating...

Hi Cathe, Andy again. I just noticed the other comment you left in regard to the little bambino we have on the way. =) We are very excited...and looking forward to the pink. My wife is a designer as well but mostly just does it for fun. She too has a blog at:

and she also has a deviant art page here:

Thanks again for all the kind comments. The logo that you created for that old truck is awesome...looks similar to an old Apache I am working on restoring. Many well wishes and looking forward to seeing more of your work. - Andy

I grew up around this stuff. My dad builds classic cars and motorcycles and my mom paints them. She does some of the best pin stripe work I've ever seen. I used to love it when she made the multi color heart beat on stuff for me.

Cool stuff! My step-brother in law has an auto paint shop along with a custom boat and bike shop. It's pretty amazing what they create.

Like your new blog layout. Nice and neat:-)

My son, now 15, is learning the fine art of airbrushing and pinstriping from my dad - something he taught me as a teenager. So glad to see some things just never go out of style. His friends just think it's the coolest thing they have ever seen. He is itching to stripe my minivan - maybe I should let him....
