How can I become so engrossed in our big wonderful blog world and not even realize that a fellow creative blogger is living right in my little town? Spectacular Kate, aka:
CentsationalGirl, and I began corresponding lately after she alerted me to the fact that we are from the same town, and we agreed we should meet for coffee. So yesterday morning it was shop talk at Peets. What a wonderful visit, part one in a series of many more to come. We are both looking forward to keeping in touch every week or so over a cuppajoe. I'm glad to see so many talented bloggers in Sonoma County. I just moved down from the Seattle area and am trying to find my way around still. I love stumbling upon local blogs.
Oh my GOSH, that would be cool to be able to trust the honor system! I tried it one year, just having the faith of a child--because we're usually celebrating a birthday that night--and wouldn't you know it, not ten minutes and someone dumped the whole bowl (giant punch bowl) into their bag and took off. Then we had no candy for the 20 other kids who came by that night! Sheesh. :)
Wonderful, small world we live in!
I don't know any bloggers who live in the same town, but there are a few shops now from thsi town.

How fun! A few months ago, several of us DFW girls got together for a blog party and it was so much fun meeting these girls. I'm glad you got to do it too!

Oh, oh, ohhhhhhh! My worlds are colliding! I've been out of the loop for a week or so, but I'm thrilled to see that you and "Kate" met IRL!
