I bought a pair of painted metal mallards for the wall of my son’s hunting lodge, aka: his bedroom. And there’s a fabulous bronze stag statue I couldn’t afford.

How amazing is this piece- a row of patina’d doll head molds. Only $2000.
I couldn’t resist snapping a shot at these girls with their big find, a vintage mounted deer head! I bought that 50s infielder’s glove for my daughter’s baseball mitt collection. How lucky was I that the seller had the history/story to go with it! And there are food vendors as far as the eye can see, but never enough seating for eating, this group of friends found their own solution using their recent purchase of vintage occasional tables.

It was a great day with a great friend, lots of new acquaintances, many old acquaintances and bags of goodies to go through in the morning, and no sunburned nose, THIS TIME I finally remembered the sunscreen!

Oh and funny thing about that post you sent me to, it was posted on my birthday. Weird right.

Haven't been to this flea market, just ones by LA. So much fun though. Saddy, I always get burned. Even with 50 spf. And a sunhat. Sigh.
