This small, tattered, flag-bearing lead soldier stands proudly in my studio reminding me daily of the men and women who serve and have served on behalf of my little family and this great, great country of ours. And to the many who have returned from battle changed forever, I pray for you. For what you have seen, what you have given and what you have lost, I will never know.

Thank you, Cathe! What a beautiful tribute and terrific SHARE! His "brother" is now, proudly, serving in my side bar!
Very nice. I used the banner from yesterday on mine! Thank you for sharing with us!!!
Thank you for your tribute to veterans past and present.
Lovely post - thank you for it and the button. It will be a daily reminder for me too.
I cannot thank you enough for remembering our Veterans on this day, sugar! I have a retired Marine in this family and he appreciates it much also. I'm going around the blogs to each and every one I find that mentions this and leaving a comment. It's the least this chick can do for our HEROES!!

How wonderful! Thanks, as always, for your generosity and sharing your talent in the most lovely ways.
The graphic and the bible verse are so beautifully paired. Very stirring.
Well said! Thanks for stopping by the other day!
Thanks, I'm going to try to put it on my blog right now. Beth

Such a beautiful tribute to those who keep us safe, protecting our freedoms.
Amen sister. Did you see the parade ? It was lovely this year.
This is so sweet. My son has been in Iraq for the past year and is heading back to Fort Hood on the
30th of this month and will be home for Christmas. Thank you's mean the world to them.
