A sweet little update to
“Hug Your Sister Week”...
Jeff baked and I frosted
a chocolate-chocolate cake on Wednesday in honor of Shelly, my late sister and Sarah’s mom’s birthday. We devoured it.

After linking to so many fantastic SISTER GIFTS on
THIS POST, my sister Jenny said that seeing
this one, called
Three Sisters made her cry. So naturally, I had to order a set for her and a set for me. I can’t wait to receive them.

You are an amazing Sister, Mom, Daughter, Aunt, Artist, Crafter, Inspirer, and chocoholic Cook! Your cake is making me so hungry, you have no idea.
Thanks for inspiring all of us (devoted followers) to be more creative, thankful, and thoughtful.
Hi there, I just thought this was so sweet of you. I looked back at the post and read that you adopted your neice. How wonderful for youto do that for her. I came upon your blog and couldn't leave without commenting. My dad passed almost 7 years ago and we haven't made a tradition like this. It would be good to start it. Thanks and Take Care
I finally had my chocolate cake yesterday and with every sweet morsel I thought of sweet Shelly. Thanks for the birthday gift! I'm excited we will both have the 'sister rings'. You are a wonderful sister! (Hi Sarah, You look so pretty...and hungry!)
First I adored you for your logo design and all around crafty bodacity, but your love for your sisters, and the adopting of your niece/the continuity of her life you preserved, has lifted my regard for you even higher!
Hmmmm....the rings as gifts for my sisters would be cool too. Thanks for the idea!
Oh my, that looks heavenly!!
And the rings are just perfect.
